Today is said to be the nativity of Inanna, a powerful, Sumerian deity who was given the title, ‘Queen of Heaven and Earth’ despite their gender fluidity. On one hand they are depicted as a beautiful goddess of love and sensuality but on the other, a handsome but dangerous god of war. They symbolize balance, duality and adaptability.
